Quality

For CERBA International, as a reference laboratory for clinical analysis, it is vital to be able to guarantee quality standards in all diagnostic categories. These minimum parameters, which we adhere to on a daily basis, allow us to ensure the reliability of our results, as well as their confidentiality. To this end, we have the latest technical advances and the best professionals. All this allows us to maintain the quality of our work and the veracity of our analyses.

Our commitment

The great technological change of the new Core, is framed in a context of innovation and continuous improvement under the quality management system, backed by the ISO 15189 accreditation of a large majority of techniques of our laboratory.
The Cerba laboratory has a list of accredited tests available to the client in accordance with document NT-08 of the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC).
In addition, we also have ISO 17025 accreditation for drugs of abuse and certification for quality and environmental management; ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively.

The goal

The aim of all this is to be able to warn people about possible genetic risk factors and adapt their lifestyle accordingly. In short, we focus on personalised medicine in which the specific study of the patient allows us to make an increasingly specific diagnosis.

INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Innovation

Technology evolves as fast as advances in medicine, which is why we are constantly evolving,
and so, hand in hand with both sectors, we can reach an effective and reliable diagnosis.

Technology

Accurate and effective technology.

Technological advances help us to increase the stability and reliability of our processes, so that there is less circuit range exposed to possible human error. This gives us greater stability in the analysis phases, which allows us to be more reliable in our results.

Medicine

Personalized medicine and diagnosis.

We are moving towards an increasingly specific subject analysis in which genetics plays a key role. Through the study of exomes, we analyse the genetic tendency of individuals to suffer from certain conditions or diseases. To do this, we make use of molecular biology and bioinformatics, which are essential for the interpretation of the results.

Cerba’s new Core laboratory

Our new open network

It allows us to integrate equipment from different manufacturers into the same one, which gives us greater versatility and greater production capacity, from a single primary tube.

A single functional structure

We have integrated into a single functional structure the core laboratory care activity, so that more than 80% of Cerba’s activity is carried out in this Core.

The main goal

Centralise, integrate and coordinate the most requested and automated healthcare activity of the Pre-analytical, Biochemistry, Immunology and Haematology services.
