Cerba prenatal tests

Find here the prenatal test that can help you to be more certain about the correct development of your baby.

During pregnancy, various risks related to the genetic evolution of the foetus and the mother’s health can affect the correct development of the baby. For this reason, it is important to carry out various tests and checks to ensure the baby’s health and the mother’s peace of mind.

Ο BBSafe®

Non Invasive Prenatal Test
Our BBSafe test is a non-invasive prenatal test that only requires a maternal blood collection, so it does not pose any risk to either the baby or the mother.

We analyse the DNA of the placenta found in the mother’s blood, which allows us to detect the probability of suffering different genetic anomalies. Our study can be performed from the 10th week of pregnancy (12 in twin pregnancies).

We have three BBSAFE options: Standard, Plus and Advanced. If you want more information about this test click on the button.

Ο Know your foetal sex

The sex of your baby with a test
By analysing a sample of the mother’s blood, the presence or absence of the Y chromosome is determined and, therefore, the sex of the foetus is determined. The test can be performed from the eighth week of gestation.

Do you doubt that you are pregnant?
Don’t think twice and get rid of your doubts with our Blood Pregnancy Test, with which we can detect pregnancy from the second week of gestation. The results take a maximum of one hour from the time we receive the sample in the laboratory.

The Blood Pregnancy Test is 99% reliable. Thanks to this test we can also detect pregnancy from the first day of the missed period.

Ο Pre-eclampsia study

Predictive Testing / Diagnosis
Pre-eclampsia is a serious blood pressure-related complication that can affect between 3 and 5% of pregnancies. It is a syndrome that usually appears after the 20th week of pregnancy, due to an alteration in maternal blood flow. It can cause hypertension, proteinuria, oedema, decreased renal function, liver involvement or headaches.

The study also makes it possible to analyse the mother’s probability of suffering from the disease during the next 4 weeks.
